Students will be able to:
- In a sentence define
- vector (give examples too)
- scaler (give examples too)
- displacement
- speed
- velocity
- acceleration
- jerk
- Calculate the slope of a graph numerically with
the proper units.
- From a displacement vs time graph be able to answer
questions about velocity.
- Find position
- Find instantaneous velocity
- Identify regions, line segments, of constant velocity
- Identify regions, line segments, of positive velocity
- Identify regions, line segments, of negative velocity
- From a velocity vs time graph be able to answer
questions about acceleration and displacement.
- Find instantaneous velocity
- Find instantaneous acceleration
- From an acceleration vs time graph be able to answer
questions about velocity.
- Find change in velocity
- Find instantaneous jerk
- Identify regions, line segments, of positive net average velocity
- Identify regions, line segments, of negative net average velocity
- Identify regions, line segments, of constant jerk
- Identify regions, line segments, of changing jerk
- Identify regions, line segments, of positive jerk
- Identify regions, line segments, of negative jerk
- From a described situation draw either the displacement
vs time graph or a velocity vs time graph.
