Organizing Your Work

The previous page shows that each planar kinematics problem is actually two kinematics problems. This type of problem's givens is easily organized into a table.

Use the table exactly as it is shown above to organize the givens in every planar type problem. You can see in the example on the previous page how this table of givens was used. While the table is not standard for all physicists around the world, if every uses, comparing work will be easier. (In the past students have use the phrase "vox-t-v-a" listen to remember the order of the variables.)
