Tangential and Net accelerations

This video will show you how we get the formulas for centripetal, tangential and the net accelerations.

This YouTube video can be found at http://goo.gl/haFzNZ.

Example 3
As a car enters a circular exit ramp between two highways it is traveling at 11 m/s when it enters the ramp and is traveling at 22 m/s 90 degrees later. What is the magnitude of the net acceleration of the car?

A 55 kg girl is on a swing at a playground. The chains connecting the swing's seat to the top of the swing is 2.00 m long. She starts at rest while making a 45 degree angle with the vertical. Find the net force’s magnitude due to the circular motion when the girl is at an angle of 20 degrees with the vertical?
This is what your solution should look like
