Teacher notes for the "Why do I travel to the outside of the curve" animation.

I use this as part my presenation to the students. The purpose is to re-enforce Newton's1st law while explaining why you travel tothe outside of the curve. I also use this to emphasize the centripetal force.

When I present it I use a lot of think pair share. I ask student to predict what will happen to the passenger with the given condition. The mystery button ..well no prediction here. When the end of the "Mystery" segment finishes, look for the summary button to appear. It only appears on this screen. Click to see a little more explanation.
